Life is full of Physics. Like all other branches of Science, it is also a substantial essence of living organisms. When we wake up at sunrise, we see light. And that already involves Physics. Radiant energy comes from the sun, as we all know, the source of light. Basically, without Physics there is also no life. Physics is the study of matter, energy, force, motion and the way they interact with each other. How can we move our body without motion? Can we participate in our daily activities without energy? Can we access the Internet without electricity? Can we eat our meals without cooking it? Clearly, we can’t. But with Physics, we can and that’s how significant it is.
Friction for example, the vehicles we are riding can gradually stop because of friction. Otherwise, it will keep on moving and bump to other vehicles or may even destroy buildings. In light with this, a vehicle can’t also stop instantly when it has greater momentum that may also lead to car accidents.
Another importance of Physics is the heat and temperature. With it, we can heat or cool things. We can’t eat our favorite dish if our mother doesn’t have a source of heat mainly the fossil fuels. Specific heat is also important especially to our body. Without a normal specific heat, our body may heat or cool faster.
As a student, of course we need energy to do work. We can’t accomplish things if we do not exert enough energy on it. We cannot do and enjoy a lot of things without work. Also, we can’t do work, home work perhaps, if we don’t have electricity. We, children of this generation rely on the Internet rather than books but still, we need light when sun is not around to shine. With electricity, sound can be generated. But as years gone by, technology grows higher. We can hear sounds through headphones, cellphones, and other gadgets without the use of electricity.
All of these things involve Physics but there are a lot more. There may be some of which we have done but we don’t know it’s Physics already. Physics is everywhere. And it has a fine, big job to our lives.
